Step 1>>Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2>>Post the first few lines from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3>>Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4>>Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

1. She just can't sleep in her bed.   She just can't sleep.  She's falling down the stairs.

2. You and I, we're two of a kind.  I hate to say it but you'll never relate.

3.  Let's hear it for heartache.  Let's hear it for pain.  Let's hear it for poison tears that wash your dreams down the drain.

4. And I'm going to get to the bottom of this.  Gonna peel back my skin and look at myself shaking and shivering.

5.  Well I don't know why I came here tonight.  I got the feeling that something ain't right.  I'm so scared in case I fall of my chair.

6.  Summer has come and passed.  The innocent can never last.

7.  Sometimes I wonder if I'd ever make it through, through this world without having you.  I just wouldn't have a clue.

8.  I started watching them all down the line.  Keep stepping and rejecting all the time.  They try to pull me in.  Can't let that happen again.

9.  Well the rain keeps on coming down.  It feels like a flood in my head and that road keeps on calling me, screaming to everything lying ahead.

10.  Unlearn me...  Ditch what I read behind what I heard.  Look, find, free.  Yet, do you get it yet?  Do you get it?

11.  Sailing all alone, guided by starlight.  Nowhere is my home inside of my mind.

12.  Walking away.  It's not the same as running, is it to you now that you've run this in the ground?

13.    I'm not alone cause the TV's on yeah.  I'm not crazy cause I take the right pills everyday.

14.  Once was a magical place.  Over time it was lost.  Price increased the cost.  Now the fortune of the kingdom is locked up in its dungeon vaults.

15.  And I will flail under these lights that seep down from the sky tonight and I will kick and beat my wrists together.

16.  What have we done with innocence.  It disappeared with time, it never made much sense.

17.  An inventory has been taken of every belonging.  An estimated value sold in event of emergencies.

18.  Wake from your sleep.  The drying of your tears, today we escape, we escape.

19.  There were 87 Advil in the bottle.  Now there's 30 left.  I ate 47 so what happened to the other 10?

20.  Things ain't just the same for gangstas.  TImes is changing, young niggas is aging, becoming old g's in the game and changing.

Same old, same old [Nov. 14th, 2005|11:01 pm]
Fuck Laguna Beach.

The season finale made everyone I know so emotional, from retardedly emotional (roommate) to actually emotional. One of my closest friends from back home started talking to me about when we first met and how much she missed me and it made me get all emotional as well and think of all the good times we had and I keep kicking myself over how much I may have missed out by working so much over the summer or just generally being apathetic about everything my senior year.

To sum it all up... fuck Laguna Beach.

Here's my most recent tentative schedule for next semester. I can't register until next Friday and it's killing me because I'd really like to have this schedule:

9:05-9:55 American Authors Since 1875 or Women in Literature (whichever's open)
10:10-11 Intro to Theatre
LUNCH BREAK
12:20-1:10 Environmental Science
1:25-2:15 Science of Nutrition

Tuesday/Thursday:
9:30-10:45 US History Since 1865

I can drop any one of these classes and just take it next year at Maryland.

Right now, I'm probably am the happiest I've been since I've started school.

I've made a great great friend here at school and no longer sit in my room all day. It looks like my GPA will be pretty decent. My family and I are getting along so well, even with me gone. It's nice talking to my dad and not having him bitch about everything. Gary even sends me an IM every once in a while. My mom's still the greatest person ever and I miss talking to her every night before I sleep, but it's still nice talking to her whenever she's not busy at work. And I have the greatest boyfriend ever and I cannot wait to see him in a week.

I've starting reading oor taking naps on the green in between classes. Greatest place ever.

More bragging about how awesome I am:

I managed to get a 96 on a Poli Phi paper. It was easily the worst paper I've ever written in my life and I managed to say that Freud was coked out of his mind and was a sexist with no actual research to back up anything he ever did.

I am amazing at college.

When you get home at 1 am and have an 8 am class, it's best not to think about things. I didn't officially get to sleep until about 5, woke up at 6:45, and slept until a little after 7.

Wooo no time for napping until 1:45!!!

So awesome night tonight.

The New Trust is decent. Criteria is great. The singer for Pedro the Lion/Headphones has a pretty voice. I still love Minus the Bear. I'd take and post a picture of the setlist, but no camera, so here it is:

Drilling
The Game Needed Me
Let's Play Clowns
"T2"- I believe it was Get Me Naked 2: Electric Bugaloo
Memphis & 53rd
Hooray
Fine + 2 Pts
Fulfill the Dream
Monkey!!! Knife!!! Fight!!!
This Ain't a Surfin' Movie
Women We Haven't Met Yet
The Fix
Pachuca Sunrise

encore:
Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse

I yanked a setlist and the singer stopped and shook my hand. We're in love, even if he's tiny and looks like Chris Carrabba.

And I made a show friend! Hooray!
